Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community? Do you have a passion for helping youth or improving mental health? Haven can use your help! We have different ways for both adolescents and adults in our community to aid our mission. Learn more here!
Haven’s Board of Directors come from a variety of backgrounds and use their expertise to aid the Haven executive and clinical directors. Board members meet monthly and are highly involved in the fundraising efforts at Haven.
Haven’s Youth Board is a group of active, service-oriented high schoolers who meet weekly at Haven. The Board plans fundraisers for Haven and other agencies and takes part in service projects outside the Haven office. Being a part of the Youth Board is a great opportunity for developing leadership skills, making friends, giving back to the community, and having fun.
Throughout the year, Haven provides students with volunteer and community service opportunities. While some students volunteer their time, other students are referred to Haven through New Trier Township’s Peer Jury program.
Looking for an opportunity to volunteer? Adults who are looking to volunteer often get involved with our Board of Directors or help with fundraising efforts.
