Art is a powerful tool for expression and allows us to give a voice to thoughts and feelings we might otherwise never describe. This year, we are looking for artists’ work that explores the experience of holding onto (even a tiny thread) of hope when everything around us seems chaotic or overwhelming.
This is an opportunity for you to share your work, your expression of experiences, ideas, interpretations of things that have impacted you and where you found hope, strength, and healing. Together, we create community. When we share, we gain understanding and empathy, and we heal.
We are inviting all students ages 6 through 20 to submit your painting, photos, drawings, illustrations, collages, poems, creative writing or 2D artwork to our 4th annual virtual art show.
Please contact us to submit your work. All visual artwork must be 12 inches or less in all directions and written work cannot exceed 1 side of an 8.5×11 sheet of paper. All visual artwork must be photographed and submitted in as a jpeg document and written work must be a pdf. Parent Signature Required if under 18.
Submission deadline is November 17th.
